Modi urged the Muslim community to reflect and avoid exploiting religious differences for political gain.Social media users praised his efforts

Amid the ongoing political battle between the BJP and the Congress after the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on the Muslim community to reflect on their role in the country’s progress and warned them against trying to exploit religious differences for their benefit.

“For the first time I say this to the Muslim ‘samaj’ (community) and their educated factions: Please reflect. The country is progressing but why does your community feel something is missing? Why didn’t it get it during the Congress period What are the benefits of government programs? Reflect on whether you experienced difficulties during that period,” he said in a television interview. “I urge Muslim ‘samaj’ to think about the future of their children, as well as their own future. I do not want any community to live a life of bonded labor because someone is creating an atmosphere of fear,” he added.

“This is the nature of you (Muslim) men, we will rely on power and we will bring it down…” Modi finally spoke his heart to Muslims today. This is what we have all been waiting for! pic.twitter.com/vFNzA8TTyE

religious differences

Modi’s candid remarks came as the Bharatiya Janata Party claimed that the Congress was “playing with fire” by trying to drive a Hindu-Muslim divide for electoral gain. Social media users praised Modi’s efforts to reach out to the Muslim community. “Eye-opening. He is not only the only hope for the majority but also for the minorities, not just in India but around the world,” said one of X’s users. “The Prime Minister said it so openly that only Modi can do it. He thinks clearly, so he is not afraid to talk about topics that have not been touched in the past 70 years.

Others said: “There is no doubt that the progressive community transcends the religious divide created by the INDI coalition. Many of my colleagues, friends and celebrities are thinking about their children’s futures and know that anything that can make a real difference in their lives Changing people are unique @narendramodi “There needs to be more candid dialogue with the Prime Minister on every issue.” Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Modi said Muslims now understand that the Congress party and the Indian Bloc are taking advantage. They are being used as pawns and claim that the community is distancing themselves from them after seeing the development project by the BJP.

“Muslim Brothers and Sisters”

Addressing a rally in Dharala in support of BJP candidate Rekha Verma, Modi said poor people and people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC communities have also joined the BJP. “Muslim brothers and sisters see that houses under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme are being provided to all needy people. Be it water connections or gas cylinders under Ujjwala Yojana, every benefit of the government is given to all… They ( Muslims) also get the benefits of all schemes without discrimination,” Modi said.

“The Muslim community has also realized that the Congress and the RIA have made them pawns,” he said, adding that “that is why the Muslim community has also distanced itself from these vote-banking political contractors”. He said that now, in order to save the Muslim vote bank, these people (opposition) are playing new games and openly engaging in appeasement. The prime minister said the opposition’s manifesto reflected the thinking of the Muslim League.
