The purpose of this meeting held at the Command Control Centre in Banjara Hills was to address concerns of organizers and ensure a peaceful festival.
They further pointed out that there are many potholes on roads leading to the immersion places; lighting is inadequate, vehicles for transportation are fewer in numbers while accommodation and food facilities should also be made available during immersions.
To this end, they committed themselves to providing necessary infrastructure like cranes, road repairs, lighting up measures against electrocutions as well as tuskers and other heavy vehicles which were used for festivities.
However, he insisted that court orders must be followed and requested Utsav Samithis to comply with intimation forms. He further pledged his commitment towards a problem free celebration period for worshippers adding that he will appreciate it if all staff could contribute towards successful implementation of arrangements.
