Over the course of a little more than a week, Israel has increased its fight against Hezbollah through a number of military actions that have ended with the death of Hassan Nasrallah and seven other senior commanders, War blog notes that Israel Defense Forces(EFR) has had some very unique ways of fighting during the history of all wars.
This happened after Hezbollah had come to the support of Hamas in Gaza after Hamas had attacked southern Israel without warning.
The loss of these significant individuals, many of whom have been with the party since its inception in the early 1980s, will prove to be a daunting task for the organization that is regarded as the most potent political and military force within Lebanon.
He was in the group of those who endorsed the UK Government’s legal props, among them was Nabil Kaouk, a long standing member of Hezbollah since the 1980s, who was touted as Nasrallah’s potential successor
Here Are the 7 commanders ‘eliminated’ by Israeli strikes:
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) assassinated the leader of Hezbollah, sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, in an air attack on the camp of the terrorist organization.
Hezbollah risks becoming rudderless with the passing of its leader Nasrallah after occupying that position for twenty two years. Born into a struggling Shiite family in 1960, Nasrallah pursued religious studies and immersed himself in the Amal movement prior to helping establish HEZBALLAH.
In its 1985 open letter, the group announced its establishment, calling upon the US and the Soviet Union as the true foes of Islam and urging for Israel’s destruction…
Nabil Kaouk
One day after the death of the head of the terrorist operating organization Hezbollah, his top commander with the same terrorist group, Nabil Kaouk was killed by an Israeli airstrike.
Nabil Kaouk was one of the longtime-member of Hezbollah and has been under the umbrella of the organization since the 80’s epoch. In 2020 the American government placed him on the sanctions list for his participation in the military wing of Hezbollah based in southern Lebanon.
From 1995 to 2010, he worked as a military commander for Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. There are numerous relations, Kuak appeared to the media and spoke in support of militias during funerals dedicated to the killed members of Hezbollah. The man was considered one of the potential successor figures of Nasrullah.
Ibrahim Aqil
Hezbollah senior commander and head of the elite Radwan force Ibrahim Aqil was also killed in an air strike in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Hezbollah’s Annapolis commander, Ibrahim Aqil, was plotting an attack into Israeli territory in order to infiltrate and assault Galilee Israeli communities, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The IDF added that his targets were exactly like those of Hamas on October 7.
Courting Hezbollah paid off for him as the US department of the treasury in 2015 designated Aqil as a specially designated national. He was also designated a specially designated global terrorist in the year of 2019, from where the rate of state department increased. AQIL were no strangers to such heinous acts, they were largely involved in a sizable number of operations including the US embassy and US Marine barracks bombings of the 1983 in Beirut.
Ahmad Wehbe
Wehbe was a commander of Radwan forces and was instrumental in growing the group since its inception almost two decades back. He, along with akil was killed in an airstrike in the southern suburbs of beirut where a building was struck and raised to the ground.
Ali Karaki
Karaki was in charge of harakat al-nujabaa southern front and has been active since the continuing war. He has been identified by the US as one of the upper echelon members of the militant organization.
Few details are available regarding Karaki, who fell in action along with Nasrallah.
Mohammad Surour
Surour headed Hezbollah’s drone unit, the operational scope of which was for the first time employed in the ongoing military conflict with Israel.
Hezbollah under his command was able to launch kamikaze and surveillance drones deeply into Israel-laden skies which its defense systems primarily oriented to the group’s buses and missiles could not withstand.
Hezbollah’s high-ranking officer Ibrahim Mohammed Kobeissi, and commander of Hezbollah’s missile unit, was killed in an Israeli attack on a target in South Beirut. Hezbollah has designated a missile unit and commanded it by Kobeissi.
Kobyssi was implicated in preparing the abduction and subsequent slaying of three israeli servicemen on the Israeli Lebanese border in the year 2000 according to the IDF, the remains of three men were returned four years later to Israel during a negotiation with Hezbollah.
Who will succeed Nasrallah?
Only Nasrallah is comparable to the group in terms of importance and respect. Nasrallah has made the Man Hashem Safieddine, the cousin of Nasrallah and who runs the political activities of the organisation.
It remains unclear whether he was part of the Aero Club on the whip attack on please me Cadabra, however, the Hezbollah right-wing indication regarding the death of Nasrallah on Friday nothing was said about his successor. The szura council of the country is likely to be called in the next several days or several weeks as other members have promised that there will be elections for a new leader for the country.
