NEW DELHI: Australia’s Travis Head continued his stellar form against India, smashing his way into the record books once again during the ongoing pink-ball Test in Adelaide. Head scored his third century in day-night Tests on Saturday, reaching the milestone in just 111 balls – breaking his own record for the fastest hundred in pink-ball Test cricket.
Head’s blistering century included 10 fours and three sixes. He bettered his previous record of a 112-ball century against England in Hobart in 2022. Remarkably, Head now holds the top three fastest pink-ball hundreds, with his 125-ball ton against the West Indies in Adelaide in 2022 rounding off the trio.
