In the wake of the clash between the presidential candidates vice president Kamala Harris and Mr. Donald Trump, political analyst levelled allegations against ABC News, stating bias in the channel’s coverage and coddling the democratic nominee due to her incessant change of policy.
Mark Halperin, a journalist and former political director at ABC News, alleged that the media was shielding Harris at all costs. He mentioned that the ‘insufficient chastising of Ms.Harris’ policy inconsistency’ by the moderators was the most disappointing aspect of the evening.
In the livestream Wednesday on his media platform 2WAY as everyone knows, ‘No such attempt was one news organization fully on board to continue through election day and protect her.’ Such problems should not have affected the coverage of the debate, which was rather funny and imperfect in balance. ‘’There was in fact mostly praise of how great a job it was done by abc’s coverage of the debates.’
He added, ‘More important to me was the fact that last night was the chance to do that and even if Harris’s campaign keeps on doing what it does and hides her from the public i am assuming it was the only one.’ In my opinion, that was the greatest failure of the performative evening.

In another post, she said, “These moderators do not know how to moderate any debate. This is one of the most slanted, one-sided, and terribly moderated debates I have ever witnessed in my life. Disgrace on you.”
‘How do ABC moderators let Harris lie?’
During the whole debate, Muir and Davis’ one-sidedness was criticized by social media users aiming at Muir and Davis for “one-sided” fact-checking.
Trump’s son Donald Jr vehemently bashed the moderators for only fact checking Trump and not Harris.

Political commentator Noah Pollak has branded the moderators “the worst moderators in presidential debate history.” He described their work as “pure work of bias”.
“ABC hosts someone please explain to me how is it that they do not protect Harris from having to explain if she is in favour of PBA’s, moves forward with all the sham” he wrote in a post on X.

Earlier, trump apparently objects that the debate was not fair because during the debate the moderators were trying to gaslight him ‘correcting everything’ and not inducing such behavior from, ‘Kamala Harris.’
“I think ABC took a big hit last night. To draw the line honestly, they are no doubt a news organization – which they have to be licensed to do – and that as such, they ought to be licensed still under such provisions within the law. They should revoke their license for what they did and how they did it,” he said.
Senator Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) vented his feelings of low satisfaction, commenting on ABC’s coverage of the debate and the reasons for its criticism, “ABC’s selective ‘Fact Checking’ is specifically the reason why there are no believers in biased ‘Fact Checking’.” Other conservatives, including Hogan Gidley, a former spokesman from Trump’s white house were also aghast at the moderators concerning how they conducted themselves with Harris on issues critical to Trump and how they managed to leave him to correct her himself over facts she expressed.
