Two burglars were caught on surveillance cameras competing against each other to snatch a package off someone’s front porch in Pennsylvania. This incident came moments after the FedEx driver had neatly put down the box and taken a picture to show that he had finished delivering.
In the video clip, the FedEx driver walks up the driveway. Leaves the parcel in front of homeowner’s front door and clicks a camera to indicate that it has been deliver.
As he was making his way back to his van. Two people suddenly appear from their vehicles parked at the house simultaneously. They run towards the parcel with both eager to have it. Before one makes off with it and speeds away in one direction, they exchange some words among themselves.
Homeowner Kevin Lara uploaded this shocking footage on Facebook expressing his disbelief about what happened. “Just had a very expensive package stolen as soon as it got deliver from AT&T. Poor FedEx driver looks scared,” he wrote.
On watching the video about thieves, Joshua Walker said, “Two criminals competing to commit a crime. This. Is Wild.”
RedWave Press wondered how these burglars knew exactly what was inside of such packages when asking. “Someone at FedEx is telling criminals what packages to hit and when. Prosecutors need to give out harsh punishment to these criminals and this would stop happening.”
It looked like an incident that took place in Columbus. Ohio where a thief boldly grabbed another person’s parcel immediately after it was dropp off at their home. Only just then did a FedEx worker ring their doorbell after reaching out for them who were already expecting their order anytime soon? Right behind them appeared a thief who snatched swiftly up the box and ran away down their driveway sprinting away as fast as they could go.
