Officials revealed that a passenger bus had crashed into other vehicles on a highway in southern Turkey, killing not less than 10 people and leaving 39 others injured.
Late on Sunday, the accident took place in Mersin when the bus went into another traffic lane as it was raining heavily and hit two cars. Later on, all three of them were rammed by a truck, Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan told journalists.
These injured victims were taken to nearby hospitals after they sustained severe injuries during the accident according to state-run Anadolu Agency.
According to Anadolu, there were 28 passengers inside an intercity bus which was moving from Diyarbakir town in southeast part of the country to Adana located in its southern part.
