Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Indian-American presidential candidate, has criticized Joe Biden’s performance in the recent debate against Donald Trump, suggesting that Democrats had treated him as a “sacrificial lamb” and used the breaks to “bring in the real democratic nominee”.
Ramaswamy took to X saying; “The game is now more obvious than ever: tonight, Democrat Party served up an old man as their sacrificial lamb. I implore them to use the commercial break to swap in the real Democratic nominee,”
Ramaswamy dropped out of Iowa caucuses after finishing fourth, he went on social media and accused media of covering up Biden’s “brain-dead” act during this time.
While talking about his presidential candidacy and performance during debate, Ramaswamy slammed Biden saying that,” The only time Biden came remotely close to life in any part of that debate was when he said anything about Trump’s impeachment &J6. He does not give a damn about what Americans care most.”
“They lobotomized him instead of drugging up Biden.” He added.
Remembering how his earlier demands for Biden to end his candidacy were referred by media as ‘conspiracies,’ Ramaswamy observed that there are various commentaries mirroring his concerns eight months later.
This comes amid increasing worries over declining mental acuity and age of both 78-year-old Trump and 81-year-old Biden making either one candidate who wins become America’s oldest president ever.
Nonetheless, despite these fears, Biden launched his re-election campaign in April 2023 as he framed it like a stark choice between himself and Trump where democracy continues or destroyed under Trump’s leadership. On the other hand, aiming at becoming second president with two nonconsecutive terms starting from November 2022; Trump will be running again for White House.
