The Bishnoi gang has demanded Salman Khan to tender an apology for his blackbuck poaching case. President, All India Bishnoi Society, Devendra Budiya in a statement said Bollywood superstar’s sorry could be considered if he asks forgiveness. “The society will think about the apology only if Salman himself says sorry. Somy Ali did not make any mistake but it was committed by Salman,” said the Bishnoi gang leader according to Pinkvilla as quoted by IANS.
Bishnoi Gang demands apology from Salman Khan; “If Salman himself apologizes…”
“I am proposing him that he should apologize before the Bishnoi society. He should come to the temple and ask for pardon. Moreover, he should take an oath that this mistake would never occur again and he should do everything possible to protect wildlife and save environment. It will lead to consideration of a resolution forgiving him.” The shots were fired two a weeks ago outside Mumbai’s Galaxy Apartments located at Bandra area belonging to Salman Khan.
For those who are uninformed, in September 1998 while filming Hum Saath Saath Hain movie, Salman Khan was accused of having shot Chinkaras at bawad in Mathania near Jodhpur. The members of the Bishnoi community filed a complaint against the actor asserting that their spiritual guru Bhagwan Jambeshwar also called Jambaji had reincarnated as blackbucks. In 1998, he was arrested but released on bail shortly afterwards. In July 2016 Rajasthan High Court acquitted him but later Rajasthan government appealed against this judgement at Supreme Court.
This comes as shooting incident outside Khan’s residence is reportedly orchestrated by Lawrence Bishno gang as per recent statement from leader of Bisnhoi group Anmol Srivastava made online through Facebook status update.
In this matter so far five culprits have been arrested. Anuj Thapan, who committed suicide in custody of Mumbai Police, his family claims it is foul play and denies the fact that he hanged himself as police allege. Salman Khan has not officially commented on the shooting incident despite increased security concerns surrounding him. His father Salim Khan also commented on this matter especially about enhanced police guarding from Mumbai Police.
