During January, a Parkinson’s disease expert came to the White House and saw President Joe Biden’s doctor amid speculations. Monday’s press briefing turned chaotic when Karine Jean-Pierre was asked to give a clear answer on the visit of the Parkinson’s specialist.
It is at that point when she strongly reacted that she cannot disclose any name of an expert for privacy and security purposes. She said Biden had seen a neurologist three times — in three years — connected to Biden’s annual physical exams.
It is also allege that among other periods, the neurologist visited the White House eight times in January, according to the visitors’ log. The January meeting involved Biden’s chief physician and a cardiologist.
Based on what New York Post reported, Dr Kevin Cannard from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center has been visiting the president’s clinic at White House residence between July 2023 and March 2024 on seven occasions before dawn in order to meet with Megan Nasworthy who coordinates primary care visits for the president aged 81 and his family.
January 17 marked the last visit whereby Dr Cannard met with Biden’s chief physician Dr Kevin O’Connor as well as cardiologist Dr John E Atwood. Also, in November 2022, Cannard met Joshua Simmons who works as an emergency medical specialist at Walter Reed while he was at WH.
President asks doctor questions by talking
She restated that after debate there were no medical check-ups for Mr. Biden. This was because his medical unit is located within White House vicinity, which means he goes there several times verbally each week.
However much one would pressurize her for confirmation, Karine couldn’t mention another person by name be it dermatologist or neurologist. “For instance some military personnel do come here…” she added and finally said “… We have got so many cases of our own…”
