On Wednesday, pictures of India’s star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant were all over social media with the T20 World Cup medal.

This selfie has made it big for the fact that Rishabh was wearing the champions’ medal around his neck.

Rishabh’s fans loved this text post that he had put up along with his selfies “This medal hits you differently”.

Teammate Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj together teased Rishabh through some hilarious comments on these photo posts going viral in social media.

Both Sira and Axar were part of T20 World Cup winning team along with Achal and this was not left out in their response to the post.

“Bhai same mere pass bhi hai,” replied Axar on Rishabh’s post.

Siraj then joined the fun with ‘bhai mere pass bhi h same’ comment on the post.

Wednesday saw India’s world cup winners finally leave West Indies three days after they were meant to because of a hurricane there.

However, Hurricane Beryl cut short India’s travel plans after they won the title by defeating South Africa in a thrilling final last Saturday.

“The team has left from Barbados on a special Air India flight.” Rajeev Shukla said to PTI, Vice President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The players were stranded in hotels for three days without any movement until when there was arrangement for this special flight.
