Days after resigning as Congress president in Delhi, Arvind Singh Lovely joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. At a ceremony held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi today, four other former Congress leaders — including Rajkumar Chouhan, Nasib Singh, Neeraj Bassoya and Amit Malik – Switched sides with Lovely.

Lovely resigned as president of Delhi’s grand old party on Sunday, citing alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
This follows the exit of a number of celebrities, including two former Delhi MPs such as Naseeb Singh and Neeraj Basoya.
Former Delhi minister and All India Congress Committee (AICC) member Rajkumar Chauhan also resigned from the party last month after the Delhi Congress disciplinary committee objected to his “dissent” to the party line .
