The two teams’ first Test match will stay forever in history as rain spoiled the first Test match between Afghanistan and New Zealand, which was due to take place at Greater Noida near New Delhi on Friday. Sri Lanka also emulates Afghanistan, whereby Eight test matches have never had a single delivery bowled in them due to the circumstances of the day at hand.
The deluge of the previous week made it impossible to play since the oval was drenched too much. No matter what, hydronic fans and fresh sod laid down all around the outfield hoping to drain the place did not work quite so well. Despite some sunshine the first few days, it was not any better.

Afghanistan has played nine test matches since receiving Test cricket as a sport with the winning majority of three. Their next games are against the national teams of Sri Lanka and India.
Under the captaincy of Tim Southee, New Zealand was unable to hold even the practice due to weather. Now they will get ready for Sri Lanka and India.
The last time a Test match was entirely washed away was back in December 1998 when New Zealand hosted India in Dunedin.
