New Delhi: Delhi Chief Election Office received 186 nominations from 7 candidates parliamentary constituency of Delhi.
No nominations will be accepted till Sunday, May 5, according to an official release from the Delhi Executive Office.
“However, the nomination process will resume on Monday, which is the last day for candidates to submit their nominations,” it said.
According to the gazette notification, the nomination review date is May 7 and the last date for withdrawing candidates is May 9.

Notably, each candidate contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections can have a maximum of three vehicles while filing nominations.
In addition, only a maximum of five persons (including the candidate himself) will be allowed into the Returning Officer’s office during the nomination application process.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India invited 75 international visitors from 23 national election management bodies (EMBs) to watch the world’s largest election.
The poll committee said the event was a first in terms of scale and participation.
The invited representatives represent various EMBs and organizations from 23 countries, including Bhutan, Mongolia, Australia, Madagascar, Fiji, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Moldova, Tunisia, Seychelles, Cambodia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Himba Wei, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Chile, Uzbekistan, Maldives, Papua New Guinea and Namibia.
In addition to these 23 countries, members of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and media teams from Bhutan and Israel will also participate.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu will address the delegates on May 5.
Thereafter, the representatives will be divided into small groups to observe the polls and related preparations in various constituencies in the six states of Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
The program will end on May 9.
The ongoing Lok Sabha elections, which began on April 19, are being conducted in seven phases and will end on June 1, with counting of votes scheduled for June 4.
