Yesterday, during a press conference, Donald Trump said that he knew Willie Brown, the ex-boyfriend of Kamala Harris. According to him, while on a helicopter ride with Harris’ ex-lover, they had an urgent situation and Brown kept bad-mouthing his ex-girlfriend about some terrible things she did. The former Mayor of San Francisco said President Trump’s story was “what Donald does best,” and also described his creativity as fictional. He added that he did not engage in any business dealings with Donald Trump nor ever shared a helicopter with him.
The 90-year-old politician credited as Kamala Harris’ mentor denied telling President Trump terrible things about her stating that he couldn’t possibly conceive of saying anything bad about Kamala Harris. Brown mentioned that Kamala was a good friend to him.
According to the paper, “You would have known if I had gone down on a helicopter with Trump,” he said. “I’ve never been on a helicopter with Trump.”
Was it Jerry Brown or Willie Brown whom Trump confused?
There are reports that suggested that Donald Trump may have mistaken Jerry Brown for someone else who was actually there when they were both aboard a helicopter. In 2018, Trump flew in a helicopter together with Jerry and then-California Governor Gavin Newsom as they surveyed Paradise, California after the city had been devastated by wildfires. NBC confirmed through Newsom’s spokesperson that Newsom rode on a chopper alongside Jerry Brown and Donald Trumphowever there was no state of emergency.

One question asked whether Trump funded Kamala Harris at any given point or knows something concerning her past relationship with Willie Brown? In response to this question from Janie Har (2020), President commented: “No I know Willie very well in fact we went down in helicopters together.” It happened in 1994 for what they believed would be their final trip by air. I mean it was a helicopter ride to certain location we were going together and it had an emergency landing. This was not the best landing and Willie, he looked a bit nervous,” said Trump (Janie Har 2020). “So I know him. I know him pretty well.”
