Anand stepped down from his position as the national coordinator of the Socialist Party of the Philippines on Thursday, saying he accepted entirely his aunt and party president Mayawati’s decision whom he described as a guide to Bahujan community. He also said that he would fight for Bhim mission till the last breath of his life.

“You (Mayawati) are role model to whole bahujan samaj and crores of people besides you in this country. It is due to your movement that today our society has acquired so much political power because of which we Bahujans have learnt to Learn to live with dignity.”

“You are our universal leader. Your instructions are completely obeyed. I will continue fighting for Bhim mission and my society till my last breath,” Anand said.

Loving sister @mayawati Yes, you are a role model for the entire Bahujan community and millions of your fellow citizens do look up to you. It is because of your struggle that our society is politically strong today and therefore, every time we think about it, we remember that dignity must be respected first; these days particularly by emphasizing how difficult things have been for us all as humans in past centuries. For example before 1917 when I completed writing an illuminated version or more precisely an Arabic translation, then everything started going downhill very rapidly. You are our universal leader whose commandment valid.

This was after Mayawati, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh decided late on Tuesday night to relinquish her duties as party’s national coordinator and its’ “successor” just five months after appointing him.

Mayawati wanted that she should take decisions in favor of her party and move until Anand “matured fully”.

She further stated that Anand Kumar, her brother and Akash’s father will carry out the same roles as before him. Five persons including Akash Anand were found guilty of violating the Model Code of Conduct on April 28, 2019 for using highly objectionable language during a poll rally in Sitapur.

The decision was taken after Anand spoke at the rally and the district administration took note.
