Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is already angry after a Brazilian Supreme Court ordered to ban X in Brazil, expressed his concerns that his social media platform could face issues as “free speech is unprecedented in the 21st century. “
He warned that X may suffer similar challenges in the US if Vice President Kamala Harris, alongside her running mate Tim Walz, comes to power.
“The attacks this year on free speech are unprecedented in the 21st century. It will happen in America too if Kamala/Walz gain power. Just listen to what they’ve said,” Musk said this in a response to a user, who mentioned the countries where X is facing trouble and claimed that “West is 3 months away from being lost.”

Supporting the suspension of US former President Donald Trump’s account, Kamala Harris on several occasions was heard saying that he should have a sense of responsibility for his words. “Freedom of speech is under massive attack around the world,” read another post by Elon Musk.

His reaction came after the judge, Alexandre de Moraes, ordered to ban X as Musk failed to comply with an order to name a new legal representative for the company. Musk reacted with fury, calling Moraes an “evil dictator cosplaying as a judge” and accusing him of “trying to destroy democracy in Brazil.”
Brazil also threatened that if anyone found using a VPN to access X then he/she will be fined up to $8,874 a day.
