Massive welcome to the jungle through its gigantism production has been making headlines. The 3rd in the franchise, Welcome, from a huge set with ten acres of land at film city to its star cast will now be one of the most awaited projects.
Welcome To The Jungle wraps up a power packed schedule in Mumbai with 200 horses for a ‘never-seen-before’ action sequence.
This film is a comeback of Akshay Kumar into comedy after many years and it features more than 30 actors including Sunil Shetty which is very unusual in modern Bollywood. In this comic caper, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek , Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh among others will also be seen.
“It will make for a never-seen-before action sequence. The safety of all these horses was thoroughly ensured while filming and the scenes were shot at a stretch for seven days,” says News18’s report. There’s almost 200 horses that makers have acquired together with horsemen for an action-packed episode and it has been directed with maximum security. A stunt like this took place on sets where these people had to work continuously for seven days without break. Also recently there was an extensive dance number choreographed by Ganesh Acharya featuring all the actors along with five hundred background dancers shot on an elaborate set put up in Mumbai as per some sources.
“Akshay and Arshad were busy shooting for the first schedule of Jolly LLB 3 in Rajasthan. Suniel on his part is busy shooting Dance Deewane 4.” At present they are finishing their other professional commitments, but their next schedule for Welcome To The Jungle will be starting soon along with other cast members,” says the report. After having a 40-day long Mumbai schedule for Welcome to the Jungle, both cast and crew wrapped up filming two weeks ago. They are due to return back to Mumbai in a few weeks where they will shoot other parts of the film. However, most actors are still busy wrapping up their respective works.
A Pinkvilla report recently shared that Sanjay Dutt was part of this franchise earlier but he had to leave it because of his own health as in this film his character was doing much action because of which he walked out after shooting for one day at Madh island.
Welcome To The Jungle was announced in 2023 with video showing cast performing a cappella. It is directed by Ahmed Khan and presented by Base Industries Group. Welcome To The Jungle all set to give audiences the best cinematic experience and will be released in theaters on December 20th, 2024.
