The Southern Railway has introduced traffic regulations that include complete and partial cancellation of about seventeen trains operating in the State due to heavy water logging witnessed in central Kerala. According to a statement issued by Railways here on Tuesday, several trains are completely or partially cancelled and rescheduled considering heavy water flow on the track reported between Valathol Nagar and Wadakanchery in Thrissur.

Train No. 16305 Ernakulam – Kannur Intercity Express will be short terminated at Thrissur.
Train No. 16791 Tirunelveli – Palakkad Palaruvi Expres will be short terminated at Aluva.
Train No. 16302 Thiruvananthapuram – Shoranur Venad Express will be short terminated at Chalakkudy.

Train No. 12081 Kannur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Janshatabdi Express will be short terminated at Shoranur Junction.
Train No. 16308 Kannur – Alappuzha Intercity Express will be short terminated at Shoranur.
Train No. 16649 Mangaluru Central-Kanyakumari Parasuram Express will be short terminated at Shoranur.
Train No. 16326 Kottayam – Nilambor Road express will be short terminated at Angamali.
Train No. 12075 Kozhikode -Thiruvananthapuram Central Janshatabdi Express will start from Ernakulam Jn. instead of Kozhikode.
Train No. 16650 Kanyakumari-Mangaluru Central Parasuram Express will commence its journey from Shoranur Junction.
Train No. 16325 Nilambor Road – Kottayam express will begin from Angamali.
Train No. 16301 Shoranur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Venad Express will depart from Chalakkudy instead of Shoranur Junction.
Train No. 16307 Alappuzha – Kannur will leave Shoranur instead of Alappuzha.
Train No. 16792 Palakkad – Tirunelveli Palaruvi Express will start at Aluva instead of Palakkad.
