Donald Trump, U.S. President-elect returned to Madison Square Garden in New York city on Saturday night to attend an ultimate Fighting Championship event. He received a thunderous welcome from the crowd.

The event was marked by controversy after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a joke about Puerto Rico, calling it a “floating island of garbage.” Hinchcliffe’s remark seemed to reference recent reports about growing accumulations of debris in the Pacific Ocean.
Trump is known for his attendance at combat sports events, having frequently appeared at UFC and WWE matches.
