It was stated by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) on Friday that a leading Hamas sniper and Nukhba Forces Commander involved in an attack on its territory on October 7 had been killed.
An IAF aircraft from the Israeli military carried out a precision and targeted strike to kill Ahmed Hassan Salame Alsauarka, a Hamas terrorist in northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun.
Alsauarka was claimed to be a squad commander in Nukhba Forces who infiltrated into and carried out attacks on communities in southern Israel on October 7th, according to IDF.
Hamas’ attacks against IDF troops were led by Alsauarka who conducted sniper activity within the area of Beit Hanoun. Before executing this attack, some steps were taken so as to minimize harm to civilians during the exercise. Consequently, no civilian casualty was sustained during the operation according to IDF.

Last month, 15 terrorists were killed by Israeli planes that struck a UNRWA school which served as a command center of Hamas.
This war room was based at UN Relief and Works Agency school within central Gaza’s Nuseirat area.
IDF claimed that around 10 of those terrorists were members of Hamas with others belonging to other terror groups among them.
A map indicating where the school compound is located along with where the war room for Hamas is situated formed part of IDF’s announcement.
In recent weeks, it states “The Hamas war room had been used by the terrorist organization to plan multiple attacks against IDF troops in central Gaza.” The military noted that “The Hamas terrorist organization systematically exploits its population and institutions for use as human shields in their terrorist activities directed against Israel.”
