Vipul Amrutlal Shah, known for the 2002 superhit movie Aankhen, is now preparing to release his latest film Hisaab. The upcoming heist movie has created more excitement around this filmmaker-producer who might be looking forward to creating a ‘Heist Universe’ that will consist of a new age bank heists as well as edge-of-the-seat action.
An industry source said, “After Aankhen, Vipul Amrutlal Shah waited a long time before coming up with another heist film, Hisaab. We also hear that he is reading a few more scripts on heists, which will be next after this one. Vipul has big plans in the cards when it comes to the heist genre.” As the entertainment industry expands its universe of genres, from spy thrillers to cop dramas and comedy-horror, the heist genre is expected to join this bandwagon. This according to insiders may become a ‘Heist Universe’ through Hisaab by Vipul Amrutlal Shah targeting global lovers of these films.
Vipul Amrutlal Shah is interested in transforming Aankhen into another such film post its success as a heist thriller in 2002 as well as continuing this legacy said sources. Additionally, Jaideep Ahlawat who is a known actor along with popular actress Shefali Shah (also Vipul’s wife) are going to star in it.” A photograph of clapperboard was posted on social media early this month when the same was declared.
The ensemble cast featured Bipasha Basu in a special appearance among others including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, Sushmita Sen while Bipasha Basu appeared briefly in the film Aankhen also as Other than unique suspense elements and twists that made both audience and critics love it exceedingly much.”
