Everyone in the television industry was in shock and grief after hearing the news about actress Vikas Sethi’s death. Sethi, primarily associated with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahiin To Hoga passed away. Due to cardiac arrest peacefully lying on his bed on Saturday night in Nashik. Vikas Sethi was 48 years old.
As his wife Mrs. Jhanvi Sethi explains, they were in Nashik for a family function when the actor’s health turned poor. Though Sethi was not feeling too good, he was quite adamant against going in for a check up. Unfortunately, he had a cardiac arrest in the middle of the night, despite it all. For ‘as we reached my mother’s place in nashik,’ he emptied out and ‘had loose motions’. ‘He didn’t want to get admitted in the hospital so we requested the doctor to come to our house. On Sunday morning at around 6 am when I went to take him out of bed, he was no more. “This doctor told us that this doctor said last night he died suddenly in his sleep owing to a cardiac attack. The deceased actor’s corpse has been transferred to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai for post-mortem and cremation services are set for Monday. Sethi is survived by his spouse and twins.
Apart from his work on television, Vikas Sethi also had film appearances. He was ‘Robbie’ in round about a blockbuster movie in 2001 Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham considering the flirtation stage with Kareena’s character. Other film credits also include Deewaanapan, Oops, Modh and iSmart Shankar.
Vikas Sethi competed in the show’s fourth season, Nach Baliye, along with Amita who was then his spouse. They separated afterwards. In the year 2018, Sethi married Janhvi again and in the year 2021 they had a set of twins.
