As John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh movie nears its premiere and fans eagerly await the trailer launch, it has been revealed that this week not only will makers unveil the trailer but also censor certificate by CBFC has been received.
Vedaa, which brings together John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh for their first time in an intense action drama, is expected to be full of stunts and bloodshed. However, some recent reports suggest that CBFC had watched the film and passed it with U/A certificate without any cuts. According to a source quoted by Pinkvilla: “There is no single cut certified U/A by Revising committee of CBFC for Vedaa. On top of this there is a disclaimer at starting and entire content being given clean chit by certification body.” In addition to this, It reported how happy they were: “The process was really smooth on Vedaa’s team side and we appreciate CBFC team’s understanding on what we are trying to put across through our movie.”
The same report also confirmed that the trailer would run for 3 minutes and 10 seconds when it gets released within few days’ time. “Vedaa is on track now for an August 15, 2024 release as all hurdles are now off their way. The makers will extensively promote the film over 15 days and are confident to grab attention of the audience with their strong content and pre-release assets,” added our source.
Also featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidhyarthi among others in key roles, Vedaa aims to cash in on Independence Day as its release coincides with Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree 2’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein’, both of which are Bolllywood releases, as well as a host of South ones.
