On Friday, the White House confirmed that intelligence from the United States aided in thwarting an alleged plot by ISIS sympathizers to attack Taylor Swift’s concert in Austria.
John Kirby, a National Security Council spokesman said “We work closely with partners all over the world to monitor and disrupt threats. In doing so, we did share information with our Austrian partners which assisted in disrupting this threat to Taylor Swift’s Vienna concert.”
Consequently, three suspects who were helping members of IS were apprehended following this intelligence which led to plans for suicide bombing against Taylor Swift’s pop music event held in Vienna being foiled.
