She thanked the militant groups representative Teamsters union’s Joint Council 39 after the political or supportive rally as the case may be formally started. They have the support of the local Teamsters however, the General President Sean O’Brien of Teamsters has declared that the union will not endorse any candidate for the presidential elections.
Among those speaking to the more than 10500 strong audience, Harris made it clear that the goal of her campaign was to heal the nation. “We’re done with all the hate and division that they are shoving down our throats,” She exclaimed.
“This campaign is about the people; it is a campaign to encourage participation, to create networks and to support the idea that everyone concerned in this matter is going to be alright, Harris concluded.
According to The Hill, the vice president has a national lead over Trump of 3.6% as of now. She currently leads Trump in Wisconsin, one of the most critical battleground states, by 2%. The extrapolation of various polls by Nate Silver’s Louisiana Purina Harris has 48.9% and Trump – 46.1%.”
