Donald Trump announced on X that he will face off with Kamala Harris in three upcoming debates for the presidency of the United States. The first debate, scheduled for September 4, will be hosted by Fox News and take place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Trump referred to the venue as “beautiful Harrisburg” in his social media account on Truth Social, which read: “The first Debate with Kamala Harris, for President of the United States of America, will be with FoxNews on September 4th, 2024, LIVE from beautiful Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.”
The second debate will be held on September 10, at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.This event will be broadcast by ABC News, which Trump derisively called “Fake News ABC,” with anchor David Muir moderating. In the same post, he took a jab at ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, whom he mockingly referred to as “George Slopadopoulos.”
