Yesterday, in a POCSO court at Bhilwara district in Rajasthan, two men were condemned to be hanged for raping and burning a minor girl alive in a coal furnace during the past year.
Kalu and Kanha were sentenced to death by the rajasthan court,” Mahaveer Singh Kishnawat, Special Public Prosecutor said.
Kalu and Kanha had been found guilty of this offense committed in August last year on Saturday.
The other seven accused who also aggravated the crime of destroying evidence have been acquitted by the same court.
According to Kishnawat, we will appeal against their acquittal in High Court.
Almost one year ago on 2nd August while grazing cattle; she was 14 years old when she got missed. These mischievous boys defiled her then threw her into fire that was lit using coal.
