Two men allegedly involved in the paper-leak of various recruitment exams from Saroornagar were arrested by a team of two disguised as a gas cylinder delivery personnel from Jodhpur police. The SOG, a unit of Rajasthan Police sent its team to Hyderabad on July 2 that contacted Rachakonda Police seeking support in locating the exact place where these people were hiding.
According to the IGP (Inspector General of Police), Jodhpur Range, Vikas Kumar, Omprakash Dhaka and Sunil Bishnoi were allegedly involved in Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination and other cases related to paper leak. Another woman Shammi Bishnoi was caught red-handed at Barsana in Uttar Pradesh for impersonating as a priest at a temple.
“We knew we had to come up with ideas, which they would not think about. We also expected that they would be prepared for our arrival so we had to be innovative. For instance, our Hindi will not exactly match that spoken here so we decided to consult Rachakonda police on how best our communication could be done,” said one senior police officer.
SOG Additional Director General of Police V.K. Singh said that Jagdish Bishoi is believed to have started and still runs this entire racket and he has people like Omprakash Dhaka and Sunil around him.
“While staying with an acquaintance in Vijayapuri Colony Saroornagar, their residence was traced there.” The official said late Wednesday night strategy had to be made for arresting them and Hyderabad police rendered excellent support which facilitated their arrest and subsequent departure via flight,” said the official.
Mr. Vikas said that he asked for assistance from Rachakonda Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi regarding identifying those police officers who participated actively in this case so as to reward them suitably.
