Al Jazeera reported that JD Vance spoke to a friend about nuclear proliferation and speculated which Islamist country might have been the first one to attain nuclear arms.
According to Al-Jazeera, this 39-year-old Ohioan lawmaker stated, “So is it really Iran or should we even count Pakistan already? And maybe it’s actually the UK since Labour just took over.”
Vance has criticized US support for Ukraine and supported Trump’s policy against Hamas in Israel as he has been very vocal on his belief of ‘America First’. In reference to President Trump, Vance calls him America’s Hitler. Vance during the past eight years has made a remarkable transformation from an self-described never trump conservative to being a MAGA loyalist and defender of the former president.
He also told his “Tory friends” what they needed to do about their recent loss in the UK general elections. This was stated during a National Conservatism conference in Washington.
Last Monday at the Milwaukee Convention Center where Donald Trump became the official nominee for Republican Party presidential candidate in November 2024, Liz Truss caught people’s attention by attending as well.
Talking with Parami News, Truss said that Trump had shown “strength and fortitude” after surviving an assassination attempt on his life; she also characterized Joe Biden as a “weak president.”
In 2010 Vance graduated from Yale Law School after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in political science and philosophy from Ohio State University. As a corporal with Public Affairs section of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, he served in Iraq where he was deployed for six months during his four years period within Marine Corps since enrolling there in 2003.
Another graduate of Yale is former Republican Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy who pledged support for the vice-presidential choice. Ramaswamy further expressed pride at Vance believing that both Trump-Vance will deliver “the most formidable presidential ticket first” ever seen by him in his lifetime.
Trump had to escape from an assassination attempt during one of his campaign rallies that took place just two days ago.
It was reported by The Washington Post that a senior official within the Biden-Harris team anonymously confided to Parami News about Vice President Kamala Harris’ desire to reach out and also congratulate JD Vance while expressing her wish for a possible meeting during one of their proposed debates.
He spent his early years in Ohio, growing up in a steel mill town and grappling with family drug addiction and poverty. His time in military service was limited to four years inclusive of a six-month tour in Iraq as part of the Public Affairs section for the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing before proceeding with law school and corporate law work.
