At the Republican National Convention on Thursday, the Trump family appeared together with his wife Melania Trump, as well as daughter Ivanka Trump and other relatives.
The family’s presence at the event bolstered their significance in GOP politics despite previous uncertainties on political future.
Ivanka, Jared Kushner and their kids joined Donald Trump after completing his speech during last night of RNC
Melania’s emergence marked a rare public moment for her since she was not part of an active campaign or attending court sessions concerning Stormy Daniels’ case. The former first lady’s only public moments included standing behind trump while he signed his official nomination paperwork.
In contrast to her speeches in 2016 and 2020, Melania did not address the audience this year. Her limited campaigning has attracted attention especially following recent events. Melania came out on stage and shared an awkward kiss before holding hands with Donald amidst falling balloons to conclude Donald Trump’s long-winded speech.
Notably absent from Donald Trump’s 2022 campaign announcement were Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner who played prominent roles in the trump White House.
This time Ivanka was a 42-year-old mother-of-three who had presented her father at both previous conventions as a senior advisor during his presidency; however, at the beginning she had made clear that she would not be actively participating in this account but instead concentrate on familial issues without taking part in any rally appearances.
