A new body camera video that was released shows Secret Service agents alongside local police officials congregating with each other right around the dead gunman just after he tried to kill former President Donald Trump.
From a Beaver County Emergency Services Unit officer’s body-worn camera, this three-minute video was recorded.
Thomas Matthew Crooks 20 years of age, who is known as the deceased shooter, left a blood trail behind him when he died. The assailant managed to shoot at the ex-president from an elevated position on a roof top during an open air rally held in Pennsylvania ten days before this film was made public.
The attacker killed one of the audience members who were present there and his name is Corey Comperatore, 50 years old while two others; David Dutch and James Copenhaver both at 57 are badly injured have been admitted but they are in stable condition at the moment. The resignation of US Secret Service director Kim Cheatle came as a result of security lapses that occurred during assassination attempt where this brand-new footage came out.
The Butler County Emergency Services Unit’s bodycam footage was posted on Senator Chuck Grassley’s X social platform.
“A Beaver County sniper seen and sent the pictures out, this is him,” mentioned by someone among Secret Service personnel at the scene referring to the body. An officer approaches another secret service agent asking about photos “I don’t know if you got the same ones I did?” who replies “I think I did, yeah. He’s [the shooter] got his glasses on.” Also saying that she had received these original images taken by the sniper and saw him (the shooter) come off his bike setting down his backpack before she lost sight of him.
