The expert group established by the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) to examine damaged piers of the Medigadda barrage in Ambatpally village of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district of Top Telangana.
Today, a team from National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) will visit Medigadda and Sundilla barrages under Kaleshwaram project to study soil strength as per recommendations by National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA). Soon Revanth Reddy CM is expected to tour these barrages with one of members of his cabinet.
Telangana Public Service Commission has put in place adequate arrangements for conduct Group-I examination on June 9 following its cancellation twice before and after the tests were carried out. One occasion it was called off for leakage whereas later High Court nullified it on grounds that norms were violated during BRS government.
