Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Sanjay Raut.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Sanjay Raut stated on June 7 that the BJP-led NDA could form the government on June 9 but it will be difficult for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to run it.
He questioned whether NDA really exists and whether people like Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar were members of it noting that their alliances can change.
“Today they are with NDA, tomorrow we might see them with us,” said the Rajya Sabha member. Adding JD(U) leaders have started opposing BJP’s Agnipath Scheme and advocating discussions on UCC.
Mr. Raut in reference to senior JD(U) leader K.C. Tyagi and Telugu Desam Party supremo Mr. Naidu said, “Anything he talked about during political campaigns either UCC or Agniveer was opposed by his allies. Tomorrow even Ram Mandir issue may face opposition. While Mr. Modi said that if INDIA alliance comes to power Muslims would have reservation. Mr. Naidu has advocated for reservation. What will Mr. Modi do? There are many issues under discussion? You want to form government let them try.”
While mocking Mr Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Mr Raut quoted “whereas BJP aimed at a Congress mukt bharat (Congress-free India). We have made it bahumat mukt BJP (BJP majority-free). However, the essence of democracy remains that BJPs still aims at forming a government.”
Sanjay Raut from Shiv Sena also seconded Rahul Gandhi who alluded to an alleged stock market scam by saying. “Amit Shah has actively taken part in share market dealings; even after becoming Home Minister he continued being involved in the share market significantly as well”. He should account for this scam”.
Earlier yesterday Rahul Gandhi accused Mr. Modi and Mr Shah of being “directly involve” in the country’s “biggest stock market scam,”. Where retail investors lost ₹30 lakh crore, and called for an investigation.
While talking about Maharashtra Assembly elections Mr Raut said, “MVA put up a good fight against BJP in LS polls and got majority votes. We would like to do so this time also targeting at least 180-185 seats. There is no big brother; we all supported each other. Weather it was Nana Patole or Sharad Pawar or Uddhav Thackeray, we campaigned together and won our seats collectively”.
The Western State will conduct elections for its 288 Assembly constituencies in October around this year.
