New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday stepped up efforts to west bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and accused her government of turning Hindus Become a second-class citizen of the country.
Amid back-to-back election rallies in Badhaman-Durgapur and Krishna Nagar, Prime Minister Modi All India Trinamool Congress allegedly indulged in corruption “Why are Hindus becoming second class citizens in Bengal. A member of the TMC recently made a statement that they will throw Hindus into the Bhagirati river. What kind of politics is this? Is appeasement more important than humanity for Bengal ? asked the Prime Minister.
PM Modi also said: “Congress, TMC and Left parties believe only in the politics of appeasement.”
In his speech, PM Modi also criticized TMC for its “indifference” towards victims Sandesh Kalisexual abuse allegations surfaced against TMC leaders.
“The state government, because of its appeasement politics, did not touch on the main accused in the Sandeshkhali case because his name is Shajahan Sheikh. So many atrocities against women happen there and the entire country wants the perpetrators punished. However, TMC protected the main accused till the end,” he said.
Regarding the large cache of ammunition recently seized by India’s Central Bureau of Investigation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi questioned whether the weapons were intended to “strengthen democracy in West Bengal”.
Prime Minister Modi also severely criticized the Bangladesh government for opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Modi added: “The Congress, TMC and Left parties only believe in the politics of appeasement.”
Furthermore, the Prime Minister also assured help to “genuine teachers and candidates” who have lost their jobs due to the School Service Commission (SSC) scam and asked the West Bengal BJP unit to set up a separate legal team.
Addressing an election rally in Badhaman-Durgapur, Prime Minister Modi said, “While he wants those involved in TMC corruption to be punished, he does not want innocent people to suffer.”
“TMC’s corruption in Bengal school recruitment is shameful. Some genuine candidates have suffered due to this scam. On behalf of the party, I have requested the Bengal BJP unit to create a separate legal cell and social media platform for genuine Modi assured that the BJP will support these honest candidates and provide them with legal help.

“My heart bleeds for the woman who was molested at Raj Bhavan, it’s a shame,” she added.
