On Tuesday, many Tibetans in India gathered outside the embassy of China in New Delhi to protest against the situation in their homeland which was occupied by China in 1950.
The police were able to keep the protesters out of the confines of the embassy and then some people were also arrested by them after the police pursued the protesters and tackled them to the floor.
The demonstration took place while China is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the age-old rule of communist party seal.
The Tibetan Youth Congress, which has held this demonstration, has maltreated Tibet including Dolma who is the president of the Tibetan Youth Congress snapping.
“Let China end the cultural genocide in Tibet. Let all the cry for the right of the just cause of Tibet,” further stated Ms. Soman Tenzin who was one of the protesters.
The Tibetan parliament in exile in India says that China has deprived the people of Tibet of their basic human rights and is murdering Tibetan culture and its people.
There are more than 85,000 Tibetan refugees in India. The Dalai Lama – the Tibetan people’s religious head – has established his base in the northern part of India since 1960 after leaving Tibet post unsuccessful revolt against China. So does the representative of Tibetan government in exile.
To that end the Dalai Lama allows no separation of Buddhists from China, and Tibetan identity from China to be uposed, calling for only real independence, enhancing the cultural buddhist identity of Tibet round.
