Trains have claimed three lives in Kasaragod over the last two days.
A 30-year-old man fell off Ernad Express near Chandera on Friday evening and died. The identity of the person who died is yet unknown.
On that same day, at around 7 a.m., a 60-year-old man was found dead on the tracks near Trikaripur Vellapu railway gate. The reasons for his death are still not established.
A construction worker aged 40 years by name Anil Kumar from Uluji, Aramanganam, got hit by Mangluru-Coimbatore Intercity Express after Kalanad railway station Kasaragod on Thursday afternoon.
His father’s name was Chandrappa but it is late now while mother’s name was Sharada and he had a sister called Anitha. His wife is Bindu; they have two children namely Shaswat and Shivani.
