On Monday, A Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, met Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Parliament in New Delhi accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Deepadas Munsi and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Monday saw Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy meeting with Delhi based parliament leader opposition Rahul Gandhi along with All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) Deepadas Munsi who is also an MP from Bengal and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka the state’s deputy CM and Mr. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy who is the irrigation minister.
During this occasion, the CM informed him about how he was implementing a waiver on farm loans in his state; besides inviting him to be a chief guest at a public meeting in Warangal meant to celebrate this decision with farmers at some later date which will be announced later.
The first announcement was made by Ghandi regarding the above measure for farmers’ debts while he was addressing his party supporters at Warangal three years ago after Reddy became T.P.C.C president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.
