At the point of her appearance in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2, Tara Sutaria had already proven herself to be a talented vocalist. From the tender age of seven, Tara had been trained in Western classical music and this brought her to musical theater and opera. She even sang for movies and ads showing how she was versatile as an artist.
Tara Sutaria is planning to hold a concert in Mumbai: “It will be huge”.
A blast from her past hit like wildfire on social media recently. Tara posted a throwback video that showcased her performance with The Bombay Chamber Orchestra at the reopening ceremony of Liberty Cinema in Mumbai during 2016. As expected, many fans and artists alike praised the video that showed her performing the second verse of “Ave Maria.”
Tara spoke about her love for live singing and desire to come back on stage during an interview on world music day. She affirmed, “I’m definitely going to do it.” Her voice was filled with determination when she said this. “I promised myself at the beginning of this year that I would go back into music.” It’s something I really miss and if there’d be no void if I didn’t do it anymore,” she added.
Mumbai can now rejoice as Tara reveals, “I have started planning my own concerts again… This will be my first concert in years for which I am collaborating with some amazing musicians from across India. The feedback has been tremendous so far; trust me; it will be big!”
In addition, Apoorva by Disney+ Hotstar is where we last saw Tara Sutaria play a role while no word has been released regarding what project she is up next.
