Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, following the success of the 2018 film Stree, have at last come back with a much-anticipated sequel as their popular horror-comedy franchise, Stree 2. The movie’s teaser had been released on social media earlier to create more buzz among fans after being presented in cinema halls along with Munjya.

What does Stree 2 teaser entail?
Directed by Amar Kaushik, this teaser suggests that there is a thrilling story coming up. Where actors from the first film go on yet another supernatural adventure in order to save Chanderi after a number of demonic incidents took place and prevent their city from evil spirits. On social media they released the teaser with tagline. “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank!”, implying it was dropping on Independence Day.
About Stree 2
The makers unveiled the teaser earlier with Munjya. Since the latter along with Stree 2 is part of ambitious Dinesh Vijan Cinematic Universe. Which is going to bring together several interesting horror comedies under one roof. Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya too is expected to be a part of this world.
Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi. Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee will reprise their roles as Vicky, Rudra. Bittu and Jana respectively promising to take audiences through another scary yet hilarious universe. Where men continue to be tortured by legendary Stree. However,the preponement of the date was confirmed by recently released ‘sting’. video giving out August as release month instead of September. This however caused a lot of backlashes from fans who were eagerly waiting for the movie. It is now slated to release on August 15, 2024.
