On July 9, Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. informed the Supreme Court that, it has stopped selling 14 products for which manufacturing license was cancelled by Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority then.

The company told Justice Hima Kohli and Sandeep Mehta that it has directed its 5,606 franchise stores to take back these products.
It said that media platforms should not have any advertisement whatsoever about these 14 products.
The court ordered Patanjali Ayurved Ltd to file an affidavit within two weeks indicating whether the request made to social media intermediaries for removal of advertisements has been complied with and if adverts of these 14 products have been recalled.
Further hearing on this matter would be held on July 30 by this bench.
A plea filed by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) alleging a smear campaign by Patanjali against the COVID vaccination drive and modern systems of medicine is being heard in this apex court.
Earlier before this court, the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority had submitted that “manufacturing licences” of 14 products both from Patanjali Ayurved Ltd and Divya Pharmacy have been “suspended with immediate effect”.
The top court had reserved its order on May 14th on a contempt notice issued to Yoga guru Ramdev his aide Balkrishna and Patanjali Ayurved Limited in a case related to misleading advertisements.
