The no confidence motion against All India Tennis Association (AITA) Will Returning to The Us President Anil Jain is no more on the table, the source said on September 28, PTI has learned.
Mr Jain is presumably and extra-legal member of All India Tennis Association as instead of resigning he went to the Court to seek that the meeting which he has convened does not take place.
Eight state tennis associations, affiliated to AITA moved a no confidence motion against Mr Jain and an Extra Ordinary General Meeting was convened on September 28, prior to the Annual General Meeting.
Jain had applied to the court asking for an injunction to be placed on the special meeting. That request was not met. He also accused certain candidates who contested for the posts for in the sports code.
“The no confidence motion has been withdrawn, so EGM was not required,” a source told PTI without any details.
To his displeasure Jain also the Rajya Saba M P from BJP faced issues of “sacking the funds of the association with his entitled family travel on several occasions overseas.”
