Varun Dhawan and his father, the filmmaker David Dhawan, are back again to make you laugh! After achieving success with Main Tera Hero (2014) and Judwaa 2 (2017), they are ready to shoot their third yet-to-be-titled comedy film together, which will start in July 2024. This is an exciting project as it will have an original script and promises a funny movie that follows David Dhawan’s style of comedy; it is going to be a part of Bollywood’s upcoming comic entertainments. We’ve been told that South Indian actress Sreeleela will star opposite Varun Dhawan for her first Hindi film.
According to Pinkvilla, casting Sreeleela adds freshness into this movie. “Even in this film like the rest of David Dhawan’s comedies, there is a love triangle where the protagonist is confused about who he loves,” stated the source close to its development.
David Dhawan has reportedly designed a role filled with entertainment for launching Sreeleela in Bollywood; though she isn’t the only leading lady. Mrunal Thakur also rounds out the cast as another woman who falls for Varun Dhawan’s character. “In this movie, Varun would romance Mrunal and Sreeleela both,” added our source.

The untitled comedy should go on floors by mid-July 2024. But before giving this latest collaboration between these two Dhawans a try, keep your eyes open for Baby John and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan. Also in his line-up is Citadel: Honey Bunny by Raj & DK team.
