Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday addressed the Congress leader while talking about Rahul Gandhi’s candidate for the Lok Sabha elections from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh. Launched new ‘Chandrayaan’ salvo, said Sonia Gandhi launched this ‘yaan’ named Rahul Gandhi 20 times, but her launch was not successful.

He said Rahul Gandhi chose Rabareli after fleeing Amisi and predicted he would lose the polls to the BJP candidate by a huge margin. He also said that former Congress president Sonia Gandhi had tried to “mobilize” Rahul Gandhi many times but failed and claimed that this was the 21st attempt.
He said, “Rahul Baba, I tell you the result of Raebareli from here. You will have a huge advantage against the BJP candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh Defeated. Write my words. Rahul Gandhi is contesting from the Uttar Pradesh constituency of Rabareli, which his mother Sonia Gandhi has controlled for the past two decades, the party said in a statement on Friday. Said that Kishori Lal Sharma, a close aide of the Gandhi family, has been removed from the Amethi Lok Sabha seat.
The two seats will go to polls on May 20 in the fifth phase of the seven-phase general election. Ending days of suspense, the party announced its candidates for two seats on Friday.
Rabareli constituency had earlier elected Rahul Gandhi’s mother Sonia Gandhi, grandmother Indira Gandhi and grandfather Feroze Gandhi. The constituency is also represented by family and friends of the Gandhi-Nehru family.
Rahul Gandhi also raised objections to the ongoing Lok Sabha polls in Wayanad, Kerala, which were held on April 26.
Addressing another rally in Goa, Shah said the Congress held the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ ahead of the elections, adding, “They did not come to Goa because Hajiji did not give importance to small states .
“He said the BJP is forming governments in these small states… No matter how small these states are, it is the heart of the country and Goa is like the ‘bindi’ on the forehead of Mother India,” the Union minister said.
