Sonam Khan shuts down rumors of doing Bigg Boss OTT 3; says “As of now, I am my own boss”
The former actress posted a picture of herself on Instagram to show her stand and wrote, “So many rumours out there! But as of now, I am my own boss! #NotDoingBiggBoss.” This statement clarified not only her present professional direction but also effectively ended any hopes for her return to the limelight through the popular reality show. However, after this rumor spread out it is believed that fans may soon see her back to acting after some time.
Sonam Khan expressed her desire to make a comeback through OTT rather than films
She had come back two years ago mentioning about returning to Mumbai and also showing interest in coming back into Indian cinema. Moreover, Sonam Khan admitted approximately one month earlier that she was eyeing an opportunity in the OTT space which she believes is more convenient platform for a re-entry than Bollywood. “So if you want to be honest with yourself—OTT gives you that chance. All content that I’ve been watching so far…in every show where women are coming up…they are emerging just as they are,” she said adding: “For me Manisha Koirala in Heeramandi is amazing and beautiful; she owns the screen. I find that very interesting. There are lots of stars in the series but she rules over everything and you can only have such space when you go so deep in an OTT project. In every series, there are different characters all get their own space and that’s just perfect for them,” she shared. This was followed by a number of reports that speculated whether the actress would make her return to showbiz via Bigg Boss OTT 3.

This reality web show will be hosted by Anil Kapoor and contestants will be locked in a house in which the format of Big Brother is followed. While celebrity participants’ identities remain undisclosed till date, some names said to be associated with the show include influencers as well as television actors such as Sai Ketan Rao, Vishal Pandey, Sana Makbul Khan among others. The series debuts on JioCinema from June 21st.
