Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, recently married each other in a beautiful but simple ceremony that took place in Mumbai; their inter-faith marriage however caused problems when objected to by hard core Hindu activists who accused the actress of promoting ‘love jihad’ and even attempted to ‘Islamify’ India. In addition, these activists from Bihar also went further ahead to threaten the actress not to enter into the state. While several of her fans came out for her support, an artist made a statement about ‘love is love’ and the actress wholeheartedly agreed with it!

The caption “Love Is Universal Religion” accompanied this caricature which was posted on his official account on social media platforms by the artist while recreating a memorable event during Sonakshi’s reception bash with Zaheer when they were still husband and wife. On seeing this photo plus some words below it, Sonakshi Sinha immediately commented, “Truest words!! This is adorable (feeling loved emoji) thank you.” However, this issue has been left unaddressed by both her and her actor spouse but for once she reacted back to any comment relating to religious matters.
