The couple marked their seven-year relationship by getting marry in a low-key ceremony in Mumbai. Following that, the actress for the first time made a joint post with her husband Zaheer, deciding to write about this special occasion.

In her note, Sonakshi Sinha said they chose 23rd June as it was significant since exactly seven years before they had an epiphany of love towards each other on this very day. Describing it in her caption, Sonakshi stated “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.”
With beautifully twin white outfits both donned by Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were looking divine wherein while the former wore an elegant ivory colored saree heavily embroidered across it with Zaheer too being spotted with white kurta having a lot of work done on it. They also posted images of themselves signing a marriage certificate when they decided to do court marriage instead of traditionally tying the knot together along with photos of their cute romance between them. Expanding further on her caption, Sonakshi added “Here’s to love,hope and all things beautiful from now until forever <3”. Furthermore, she signed off saying “Sonakshi (infiniti emoji) Zaheer 23.06.2024”.
