According to the party, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury is in “critical condition” and requires respiratory support at the AIIMS as of Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
Mr. Yechury, who is 72 years old, suffers from an acute respiratory tract infection and has been moved to the ICU at the AIIMS it has been stated.
CPI (M) party said that, ‘At present there is a multi deiscpline here on Mr. IAU states health Yechury who is not in well condition.’
Sitaram Yechury was taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on August 19 for treatment of some kind of chest infection which was similar to that of pneumonia.
