Ektaa R. Kapoor known the kingpin in the Indian television and film business has now joined hands with The Viral Fever (TVF) for targeting great stories that are practical to the business. However, this new film appears to be a small segment of the larger partnership plan of Balaji Telefilms and TVF. A source divulged to PinkVilla, “Ekta and TVF have come together to create stories which are new and out there for the viewers but are still commercial in nature. This one is a part of the deal which is there between Balaji and TVF, and the negotiations are on with Sidharth Malhotra.”

The film that is still in the preâ production stage, is said to be content heavy and will be based on Indian folk tales and will take a cue from Hindu mythology. Ibid, “It’s a high-on-drama and emotion film, which is based on a rich folklore of Indian Hindu mythology. The filmmakers want to make their film very difrenetic which will be on the lines of Kantara.”

Sidharth Malhotra is now expected to listen to the final narration of the script in November 2024, after which he will most likely be cast for the role when he gives a thumbs up to the final version of the script.

The work on the film will begin in the second half of the year 2025.
