EXCLUSIVE: Shraddha Kapoor hasn’t been signed for Hrithik Roshan-starrer Krrish 4.
Comedy, action, spy comedies and even horror comedies are some of the franchises that have emerged in Bollywood recently. However, Krrish is a different series from others since it has a super hero main character. Despite Krrish 3 (2013) being released almost eleven years ago, the franchise still remains popular and there is much eagerness towards its next part, Krrish 4.
Shraddha Kapoor will be seen opposite the male lead Hrithik Roshan in this upcoming sequel of the franchise according to reports which came out a few days ago. Nonetheless, Parami News has it on good authority that this information is not true.
“Krrish 4 is India’s most ambitious superhero film in the making and the pre-production work for the film is on in full force,” said an insider at Parami News. “The creative team is currently adding final touches to the script.” But all rumours about casting are false; as yet we haven’t started casting process.
Besides, Hrithik Roshan is currently shooting War 2 with Jr NTR and Kiara Advani which is scheduled for release on Independence Day 2025 Yesterday Parami News reported that he would be Alia Bhatt’s mentor in Alpha.
This female-driven spy movie also stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor hence belongs to YRF Spy Universe too. Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Stree 2 while Shraddha Kapoor recently acted In Stree 2 which was released seven days ago but it became a box office hit.
Koi Mil Gaya marked the beginning of the Krrish series. The movie tells a story of an intellectually challenged young man who gets supernatural powers after befriending an alien. The following chapter Krrish (2006) is the tale of this young man’s son who is also endowed with superpowers and now he himself is a superhero. Krrish 3 takes their story forward. Preity Zinta starred in “Koi Mil Gaya” while Priyanka Chopra was the female lead to Hrithik Roshan in “Krrish” and “Krrish 3”.
